Teen ordered to pay £500 after destroying furniture

ALEX Joseph Lonsdale, 19, of Station Road, Beeston, has been ordered to pay £500 compensation to Framework Housing Project, London Road, Nottingham, after he destroyed furniture and fixtures in a room on November 19 last year.

He pleaded guilty to the offence last December.

A community order was made this month.

He must take part in the Calm programme – an acronym for controlling anger and learning to manage it.

He will be supervised by the Probation Service for 18 months.

He must also pay court costs of £85. He received the same sentence for failing to surrender to custody at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on December 12, which was admitted.

DOMINIC James Marshall, 38, from Plains Road, Mapperley, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Skoda in Thorneywood Mount, Thorneywood, on November 15.

He had 178 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. He was remanded on unconditional bail until February 6 at 2.15pm at Nottingham Magistrates' Court for a pre-sentence report is prepared. He has been given an interim driving ban.

MARK Smalley, 47, of Ainsley Road, Beechdale, received a £400 fine and was banned from driving for 16 months after he admitted driving in a Peugeot over the legal drink drive limit in Grassington Road, Aspley, on New Year's Day.

He had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He has to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85. He pleaded guilty on January 12.

JORDAN Luke Marshall, 23, from Churchill Drive, Newark, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards others in Newark on October 8.

He was found guilty in January and fined £150. His punishment includes having to pay court costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £15.

He admitted a second offence or failing to surrender to custody at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on January 11 at 2pm and was fined an extra £100 for this.

JESSECA Spencer, 22, from Britten Gardens, St Ann's, was fined £150 for being drunk and disorderly in Angel Row, Nottingham, on New Year's Eve.

She pleaded guilty at court this month. She has to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85.

ADAM James Willis, 24, from Hey Street, Long Eaton, pleaded guilty to drink-driving on New Year's Eve.

He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

He admitted he was driving a Peugeot van in Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, when he had 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was banned from driving for 20 months.

DAVID Jonathon Wright, 36, from Villiers Road, Woothorpe, had his case sent to Nottingham Crown Court to be heard on March 1.

He is accused of going to Woodthorpe Mews, Woodthorpe, with the intention of stealing between October 24 last year and October 26.

He was given unconditional bail.

GARY John Parkin, 42, of North Street, Langley Mill, pleaded guilty to assaulting a female in Eastwood on January 10. He was remanded on conditional bail until February 2 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

RONALD Russell Barrie, 47, from Rectory Road, West Bridgford, denied assaulting a female by beating her in West Bridgford on December 22 last year. He was remanded on conditional bail to appear at court again on March 22 for a trial.
