NOTTINGHAM Forest made a surprise inclusion in their starting line-up as Joe Garner made his first league start since late November as part of an attacking line-up.

Dexter Blackstock was fielded as a lone striker with Garner supporting down the right, Paul Anderson down the left and a restored Raddy Majewski in the hole down the middle.

Nathan Tyson and Robert Earnshaw dropped out of the starting line-up, with the Welsh international included on the bench and Tyson left out altogether.

Coventry fielded former Forest man Sammy Clingan in the centre of midfield, as they looked to continue their strong home form at the Ricoh Arena, where they had lost only three times all season.

COVENTRY: Westwood, Wright, Clingan, McPake, Bell, Eastwood, Morrison, Cranie, Gunnarsson, McIndoe, Wood. Subs: Konstantopoulos, Deegan, Hussey, Baker, Barnett, Grandison, Jeffers.

FOREST: Camp, Gunter, Morgan, Wilson, Cohen, Garner, McKenna, Moussi, Anderson, Majewski, Blackstock. Subs: Smith, Perch, Chambers, McGugan, Adebola, Earnshaw, McGoldrick.

REFEREE: Tony Bates
