Swine flu rates drop in Notts again
In Notts outside the city the rate per 100,000 went down from 48 to 37 in the same period.
In the East Midlands, the number of swine flu-related hospital admissions fell from 82 to 74 between November 12 and 18.
The Government says the swine flu vaccination programme will now be extended to all children over six months and under five years old.
Children of this age are more likely than any other to develop complications if they fall ill with swine flu.
Those between six months and five years in medical at-risk groups were among those already being vaccinated against the H1N1 virus.
Chief Medical Officer Liam Donaldson, said: "Our first priority is to ensure that people with clinical risk factors, and frontline health and social care staff are vaccinated.
"Protecting those most at risk from the disease will reduce the levels of serious illness, and deaths."

“And what a farce it is once you get it hey!
I called the help line this morning at 7.30, to be told to get someone to go to either Kirkby or Carlton to pick the Tami Flu up, I only have one person in the day that can drive and he is elderly, I was also told he needed I.D, and I wasn't to be in contact with anyone until Monday, I re-asked who's I.D? I was told his! I mean I am carrying a virus that can kill, so I thought o.k.
Well he went up to Kirky at 9am and it was shut. Why did they didn't mention that detail beats me! so he went back up at 3pm and had to borrow someone elses car to do this by the way, when he got there they told him they needed MY I.D they called me though (using his phone credit!) and spoke to me, and then flatly refused to hand it over.
I called this centre up in Kirkby only to be told to call my doctors, how? they are SHUT!
After crying for quite a while I ended up calling the Primary Care Trust to get it delivered to my door, this will now be tomorrow, (over 48 hours after recieving this dreaded virus for this tami flu to work they say!), and the only reason I called the help line in the first place was because I am coughing up lumps full of blood.
My cough by the way is also getting worse by the hour! fever? yes!
What a bunch of ball juggling idiots.”
