Swansea issue Pratley warning and refute talk of fresh Forest bid
SWANSEA chairman Huw Jenkins today warned they would not be bullied into selling Darren Pratley.
The Welsh club this morning denied rumours of a fresh bid from Nottingham Forest for the highly rated midfielder.

And despite interest from Leicester City – and a handful of Premiership sides – Jenkins is still hopeful that Pratley can be persuaded to sign a new contract.
The 25-year-old's current deal expires at the end of this season.
Jenkins said: "I can assure supporters that nobody will leave this club unless the deal is right for us and every other option has been exhausted.
"We will deal with things the right way for our football club.
"I had a private conversation with Nottingham Forest a few weeks ago which, as we agreed, will stay private.
"Now that our new manager (Brendan Rodgers) is in place, we will be looking to start discussions with Darren Pratley over a new contract."
And Jenkins believes today's talk of a fresh bid from Forest is merely an attempt by the player's agent to kick-start a bidding war.
"I assume it is an attempt by agents to put pressure on us. It's certainly not a new story, so I'm very disappointed," he said.
"But I can state quite categorically that we will not be pressurised or bullied by anyone."

“Andy, Nottingham, i'd like to know what you do all day because your not doing nothing for me or the rest of the forest fans. Just because the AP don't say anything, doesn't mean anything. BD is on the AP, and infact he co-Leads it, he has said countless times in the past that he won't announce interest in players until they are all but had their medical, so so what if we haven't announced anything yet, doesn't mean we won't.
also notice last Jan how BD was constantly moaning about not getting players in the press, and notice this time around that he's not said a word about possible players coming in or the lack of them. Either we are getting someone, or BD is happy with the current squad. If things had failed behind the scenes, then you wouldn't be able to shut him up.”

“Kev are you for real? If his contract runs out in july 2010, he would already be eligible to speak to other teams without swansea even needing to be in the loop. He would practically be a free transfer already.
You do have a brain dont you?”

“Sorry to be pedantic but 'contract expires at end of the season', which season? If it's this season, then is that 31st July 2010? If that is the case, then with competition from other clubs, it might end up as the club that plays the dirtiest will get Pratley. My belief is that come 1st August some club will be making a press announcement, what chance it being Forest?”
