Stun gun robbery at newsagent
A ROBBER threatened staff at a Sandiacre newsagent with a weapon described as a "stun gun".
The thief struck at GT News, in Stanton Road, at about 2.40pm on Monday afternoon and was given a small amount of money before he fled in the direction of Spencer Avenue.

He is described as white with freckles and light coloured hair. He was wearing a hoodie-style top, dark trousers and trainers and had a cream scarf across his face, He is about 5ft 9ins, slim and in his 20s.
No-one was hurt. Anybody with information should call police on 0345 123 3333.
