Stolen wire leaves Retford buildings without power
THE POWER went out in part of a North Notts town last night after wires to an electricity generator were stolen.
The cut wires left two premises without power.
It happened in Babworth Park, Babworth around 10pm and the power was out until just after 1am.
Detective Sergeant Rob Lloyd, of the Force’s metal theft reduction team, said: "No power means no lights and, more pertinently, no heating.
