Stapleford library to shut for seven months for refurbishment
STAPLEFORD library will close from tomorrow for seven months to allow building work to take place.
It will shut its doors at 1pm with nearby alternative libraries open at Beeston in Foster Avenue, Inham Nook in Barn Croft and Toton in Stapleford Lane.

From mid-April, a limited lending service will be delivered from Carnegie Civic and Community Centre, in Warren Avenue.
Opening hours will be: Monday 9am – 5pm, Tuesday 9am – 1pm, Thursday 9am – 7pm, Friday 9am – 1pm, Saturday 9.30am – 1pm, and closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

Linda Turner, Team Manager for Library Operations at Notts County Council said: “We will be operating an express library service in Stapleford from mid-April which will be held at the Carnegie Civic and Community Centre, in Warren Avenue, at Stapleford Town Council.
“We will be able to loan adult and children’s books, large print books and talking books at this temporary service, while the refurbishment works are taking place and appreciate people’s patience during this period.”
