MANSFIELD Town will hold a pitch inspection tomorrow morning to see if their game with Darlington will go ahead.

Local referee Russell Booth will be on hand to assess the playing surface at 9.30am.

Although the pitch has been covered since Monday, recent temperatures as low as -5C has put the match in doubt.

Fans, particularly those from Darlington, are advised to check before they begin their journeys.

Meanwhile, Mansfield's away match at Alfreton Town, scheduled for Tuesday, has been postponed and re-arranged for Tuesday March 13 (7.45pm).

That is due to the postponement of the Reds' FA Trophy tie at Gateshead, which will now take place in midweek instead.
