Staff vote in favour of Nottingham's hospitals
STAFF who work for Nottingham's hospitals have voted it to be one of the best trusts in the country for job satisfaction.
The latest staff survey results published today by the Department of Health position Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital, in the top 20 per cent of acute trusts when it comes to, job satisfaction and motivation.
A majority of staff also said that they felt as though their ideas for improvements were listened to.
Peter Homa, chief executive of the trust, said: "These ideas are improving patient and staff experience, quality and safety of care and value for money.

“How can they vote QMC as one of the best hospital trusts to work for when QMC is old, filthy and disgusting. It's so dirty and I feel horrible whenever I leave that place and feel I need to get in the shower to wash off the grime.”
