ALL NCT bus services have been suspended because of snow and ice, the company has announced.
A spokesman said: "All NCT bus services are now suspended due to extreme weather conditions across the city.

Snowy roads in Carlton this morning
"The network will be reviewed at 22:00 this evening to see if any last buses can operate.
"An update will be put on the NCT Facebook page after 10pm and at 5am tomorrow."
A number of Trent Barton buses are not running tonight including bus numbers 185, 186, 141 and 90.
The only Rainbow bus operating is the Rainbow 3B.
The Hucknall Connect service is not operating on the Ruffs Estate and the Red Arrow service is not running between Alfreton and Chesterfield.
The Nines bus service linking Mansfield, Sutton, Alfreton, Ripley and Derby city centre has been suspended beyond Ripley northbound.
The 1A bus service is not operating through Waingroves.
Trent Barton will update their website at 6.30am tomorrow. Visit www.trentbarton.co.uk
Further snow and sleet is expected in Notts this evening - meaning more ice on the roads overnight.
The Met Office says there will be more adverse weather across the East Midlands until the early hours of the morning.
Sunny intervals are predicted for tomorrow but experts say the temperature will remain around freezing point.
Officials say the public should take extra care on the roads - though major routes should not be badly affected.
Hazardous conditions were earlier reported on roads including the A611 in Mansfield, the A619 in Worksop and the A617 in Rainworth.
Salt has been spread northbound and southbound on the M1 and the flow of traffic has not been heavily disrupted.
Notts Police have advised motorists to only make "essential journeys."
A spokeswoman said: "Reports have been made of a number of vehicles being left stranded in the snow across the county and minor road collisions."
She added drivers should make sure they took warm clothing, de-icer, a shovel and a scraper into their cars.
The East Midlands Trains service from Liverpool to Norwich was currently delayed by 30 minutes due to heavy snow in Manchester.
Nottingham to London services and trains on the Robin Hood Line to Mansfield and Worksop are running as normal.
Due to the weather conditions passenger transport was due to be leaving all day centres in Nottingham City at 1.45pm today, earlier than expected.
This includes Bestwood, Summerwood and Springwood. People were being warned to expect users to be home or at organised bus stops earlier than usual.
Clumber Park and Newstead Abbey have been closed to the public due to the weather.
Nottingham City Transport was diverting the Go2 Lilac Line 21 bus in the Carlton Valley area due to poor road conditions, but this is now operating as normal again.
Ashfield District Council's offices closed at 4pm. The council has run on a reduced workforce today.
Residents in Gedling are again advised to leave any uncollected black bins out until bin lorries can make it down icy roads.
Green bin and glass box collection should be put out on their next collection date, with any extra waste in a box or untied bag at the side.
Coun Richard Nicholson, Portfolio Holder for Direct Services at the council said: "I would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we are doing our best in these difficult conditions."
Bin collections in Amber Valley are also disrupted.
Residents are asked to take bins or recycling boxes back in if they are able to manage until their next collection.
Residents unable to manage should leave their wheelie bins or boxes/bags where they are accessible but not causing a hazard or obstruction as a collection may take place later in the week.
Collections have also been suspended in Newark and Sherwood.
Severn Trent Water said calls to its customer service centre had more than doubled in the couple of days.
The chilly weather is causing frozen or burst water pipes.
Fraser Pithie, senior operations manager, said: "We're endeavouring to deal with all the calls as quickly as we can, but we would ask people for their patience during this particularly busy time."
All flights at East Midlands Airport are currently running on time but the airport is on standby to take diverted flights from other airports and so far today has accepted four flights that were due to land at Manchester and Birmingham.
Scout leaders have been drafted in by the county council to help children trapped in school by the snow.
The leaders volunteered for the Notts Emergency Scouts Support Team (NESST), which helps out the council.
NESST has 32 people working across the county and has sent out two Land Rovers to deliver blankets and sleeping bags to children trapped at the Elizabethan High School in Retford, and to the Ollerton rest centre, where stranded motorists will be taken.
The team has also been delivering medical supplies for vulnerable elderly people across Notts.

“According to the NCT's Facebook page (they've managed to update that- bad news for anyone who's not on Facebook) buses are running. That was updated this morning. I shall go and stand in the snow and hope...”

“Any possibility this story might be updated any time soon? Some of us rely on the buses to get to and from work- the NCT site is (as has been pointed out) unavailable- for what seems like the last 12 hours. I've not seen any buses go past- should I walk? Could the Nottingham Evening Post assist me in making that decision by giving us an update on the buses?”

“Just tired to look at NCT web site, guess 'Service Unavailable'. Seems that the snow has prevented the internet working! for NCT. Perhaps it needs some grit on the keyboard!”

“no one clears the front of their pavement etc due to the fact that they are scared of being held accountable for any accident that occurs, and subsequently taken to the cleaners for compensation...such is the state of this messed up once great country.”

“The Torys at NCC have spent all their money for gritting on "Road Closed" signs.
Taking the easy way out.”

“Boo! Hiss! This IS all the fault of the Tories. I've been sitting staring out of my window for most of the night and I haven't seen David Cameron going round with a shovel... not once!
I did see Ken Clarke making an igloo but that was it.
Can anyone recall that really bitter winter of afew years ago where we had 18ft deep snow, and we all got snowed in, and died of thirst and hunger, and of buses being cancelled and then our dead bodies got eaten off yetis or something and the human race became extinct... I'm sure we all remember it well.
I think the Tories were around then aswell”

“Whilst I agree that more grit (or in some case any grit), would help things out there, the fact is some people don't have any clue as to how to drive in this weather - they just carry on driving like they do normally (which is often badly) !
Oh and Andy, Edwinstowe isn't in 'the north of the county', if you want to sample the north come up here to Harworth (if you can't find it on the map head for Worksop)”
