Severe delays on M1 between junctions 25 and 26 in Nottinghamshire after serious crash
Motorists can expect severe delays on the M1 near to junction 25 in Nottinghamshire following a serious crash earlier today.
The incident happened just before 12pm and involved two lorries, one saloon car and one van.

One person was trapped in the car and cut free by fire crews.
The Air Ambulance attended to the second casualty who was in the lorry.

The police were in attendance and the environment unit from Alfreton dealt with a diesel spillage.
The road has now partially reopened but severe delays can be expected.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
Disruption is expected until around 6pm.
The closures are as follows:
- Between junction 25 and 26 northbound one lane is open, but expect delays of one hour.
- Southbound there are delays of around 30 minutes.
