Seven charged after violent incident in The Meadows
POLICE have charged seven men with committing violent disorder following an incident in The Meadows.
Officers were called to Beardsley Gardens at around 3am, on Saturday after receiving reports there was a disorder in progress.

Six of the seven charged have been bailed in connection with the incident and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 9.
Mathew Wingfield, 19, of Middle Furlong Gardens, The Meadows, was remanded into custody after appearing at Nottingham Magistrates' Court yesterday and will re-appear before the same court on July 6.
The remaining six charged with committing violent disorder are: Sam Smith, 26, of Phoenix Close, The Meadows; Paul Smithen, 19, of Sandays Close, The Meadows; Romaine Williams, 18, of Lammas Gardens, The Meadows; Kyle Knowles, 18, of Sandays Close, The Meadows; and Dane Ward, 18, of Meredith Close, The Meadows; a 17-year-old male youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, from The Meadows.
