Sandiacre bookmakers hit by lone robber
A LONE robber made off with cash after raiding a bookmakers in Sandiacre.
The raider entered Ladbrokes in Derby Road just after 4.20pm yesterday and threatened staff before escaping with an undisclosed sum of cash.

Police say it is unclear whether a weapon was used in the incident. No one was injured in the raid.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Derbyshire police on 0345 123 3333 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
The latest bookmaker robbery comes as police in Nottingham continue to investigate seven raids in the city since November 17.
Ladbrokes has already stepped up security at all its branches and a £10,000 reward is being offered by the Association of British Bookmakers for information leading to the conviction of any of the raiders.
