Rising Forest star thrilled with Notts loan switch
BRENDAN Moloney has been loaned to Notts County from Nottingham Forest with a simple message from Reds' boss Billy Davies: "Enjoy it".
The 20-year-old defender has crossed the Trent on a six-month loan deal.

He is thrilled to be at Meadow Lane and reunited with Magpies boss Ian McParland, who coached him at the City Ground.
He said: "I'm very pleased to be here. I came back last week to get ready for pre-season.
"I was getting ready to go in at Forest but when I found out I was going to come to Notts County I was thrilled and delighted.
"I've worked with the gaffer here before for a few years at Forest. He was brilliant.
"I'm looking forward to working with him again and I know a few of the lads already.
"I came through the youth ranks at Forest with Ben (Fairclough) and I know Thommo (John Thompson). I'm looking forward to it."
Moloney made 12 appearances for Forest in the Championship last season after a short spell on loan at Conference side Rushden.
But he is not upset about not being given a chance to stake a claim for a place in the Reds' first-team squad for the start of the new season.
"I was lucky enough to make nine league starts and a few sub appearances last year – that did me good," he said.
"It was a great experience to play those few games because before that I played a few games in League One and in League Two for Chesterfield (on loan).
"It was the first year in the Championship for a few years and a lot of us weren't used to it. When I was given a chance I was delighted, and I did the best I could."
McParland tried to sign Moloney on loan last season but he was loaned out to their league Two rivals Chesterfield.
He played nine league games for the Spireites and scored the first league goal of his career.
"I enjoyed it, I learned there's no easy game in League Two," he added.
"I was lucky enough to get my first league goal in front of the TV cameras so all my family and friends got to see it back home. Hopefully there might be a few more of them while I'm here.
"I love to get forward at every opportunity but first and foremost as a defender I'll have to defend."
Moloney, who has been handed the No.2 shirt, has been signed by McParland as a right-back – but he is not taking a place in the team on the first day of the season on August 8 for granted.
"You are never guaranteed anything, you have to perform and do well," he said.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to know my new team-mates and getting into the season.
"I want to nail a place down and perform well every time I get a chance.
"I have been told to come here and enjoy the experience. He (Davies) told me it will be great for me as a young player."

“Good luck Brendon - you'll enjoy playing with a manager who enjoys developing young players. I thought you were great last year, both as a defender and your ball thru to Garner for the goal of the season.
Sorry the current NFFC management don't appreciate you - we all wish you well.”
