Review: Netsky, The Forum, by Sarah Gill
In the Forum, courtesy of Detonate was a night of massive proportions with the Netsky Live experience. Belgian Boris Daenen brought his brand new live show to the stage featuring drums, synths, keys, guest vocalists and an MC.
Netsky dropped a range of tracks with his trademark liquid funk style; from hip-hop to dubstep and banging drum and bass, with many instrumental layers and even some 'drumstep'.
Plenty of material was showcased from new album, 2, which was well received by the masses.
Highlights were the epically proportioned dubstep head-banger Wanna Die For You, featuring Diane Charlemagne, the 80s videogame style riff of Give and Take, and Come Alive, with a polished vocal hook provided by Billie.

The crowd were taken away on a tidal wave of drum and bass euphoria with all raising their hands aloft, and when the Black and Blue remix was delivered up, it raised the roof.
Netsky came finally into land with raucous track Everyday, which brought the crowd down with a deep ***** on the dance floor.
A spectacular night with the crowd completely giving themselves over to the electrifying live performance. Netsky has certainly made his mark on the drum and bass scene.
