FOR a band that hasn't released an album since 2009, there is still a strong and devoted fan base for Brand New.

Thankfully lead singer Jesse Lacey acknowledges that fact and thanks the crowd for their patience, rewarded them with a truly remarkable set that encompassed songs from all four album in an energetic show.

Aware of the strict time limit (yet still coming on eleven minutes late) Brand New kept the talking to a minimum and powered through a set that was akin to a game of 'Guess The Intro', the crowd taking less and less time to recognise each song.

It started slowly with a solo acoustic number but soon picked up speed with fans singing back every word.

The New Jersey five-piece seemed to feed off the energy from the mosh pit and looked to be genuinely enjoying themselves.

The pace was unrelenting for over an hour and it was songs from debut album Your Favourite Weapon that really whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

Jude Law and Semester Abroad both took the crowd to a new level of ballistic.

A very loud and electric evening from a band which deserves more mainstream recognition.
