STAFF at the British Geological Survey in Keyworth, who raised more than £2,000 for a homelessness charity through office cake sales, are now launching their own recipe book.

Scientists and support staff raised the cash for Framework after becoming concerned by the number of people sleeping rough in the Nottingham area.

They now hope to raise even more by launching their new recipe book today.

Members of the Billy's Basement Bakers club, named after William Smith who was a renowned 19th Century geologist, printed a small number of the books in June for family and friends, and quickly sold out. They have now ordered another print-run for general sale at £5 each.
