Reading team news: Former Forest transfer target, defender Matt Mills, is hoping to recover from an ankle injury in time to play tomorrow.

Shane Long (strain) and Jay Tabb (ankle) also have a chance of being involved, after returning to training this week.

Club captain Ivar Ingimarsson will not play after suffering a set-back with his hamstring problem.

Reading (from): Federici, Griffin, Rasiak, Williams, Pearce, McAnuff, Howard, Kebe, Karacan, Antonio, Sigurdsson, Gunnarsson, Church, Hunt, Hamer, Davies, Robson-Kanu, Taylor, Mills, Long.

Forest team news: Forest will be without defender Chris Gunter who sits out the first of a three match ban.

The Welsh international was punished retrospectively under new FA rules following an incident in the game against Leeds.

They will still be without striker David McGoldrick (shoulder). There are no other serious injury problems within the Reds squad, however.

Forest (from): Camp, Chambers, Morgan, Wilson, Bertrand, Cohen, Anderson, McCleary, McKenna, Majewski, Tyson, Blackstock, Moussi, Earnshaw, Darlow, McGugan, Moloney, Adebola, Thornhill.

DANGER MAN: Jimmy Kebe.

The Mali-born forward netted a late, late equaliser to earn Reading a valuable point at Portsmouth last weekend.

It was Kebe's first goal of the campaign – and he will be hoping to eclipse last season's tally of 12.

KEY MAN: Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The midfielder was actually Reading's most potent attacking for last season, when he fired an impressive 20 goals.

A set-piece specialist and the Royals' regular penalty taker, the Icelandic player can be relied upon as a regular source of threat.

Has already netted his first of the new season, although it was not enough to deny Scunthorpe a 2-1 win at the Madejski Stadium on the opening day.
