A MAN and his wife have nominated their friend after he helped them learn to read and write.

Ammar Azeddini has been helping Amer Mohamed, 32, from St Ann's, for six years.

Mr Mohamed said: "He has sacrificed a lot of time for us. He has also taken us to hospital appointments."
