BREWERIES and drinkers have welcomed a one pence cut in the price of a pint.
Chancellor George Osborne also revealed the beer duty escalator has been scrapped, in his Budget speech.
Colin Wilde, of Castle Rock Brewery, said it was welcome news for pubs and brewers.
