who attends the School for Parents in Nottingham, needs the support of a
specialized chair, with footrests and side supports, so that she can sit
comfortably whilst using her eye-gaze computer.
We were also pleased to present a cheque for £550 to the
Notts Hospice following the Fashion Show held in November. This was the second year of running this
event and has proved so popular that tickets have already been requested for
next year!
The Club held a joint fund raising quiz night with the
Co-operative Society to raise money for the Carer's Trust, which is the Co-op's
chosen charity for 2013. It was a hugely
successful night with £1,175 raised.
Thanks to all those who attended or gave donations of raffle prizes.
