A DEMONSTRATION against the proposed closure of a Gedling recycling centre will take place tomorrow.

It is feared that if the closure of the recycling centre in Gedling Lane goes ahead people will have to travel further to recycle and this could increase fly tipping.

Gedling MP Vernon Coaker will be at the demonstration. He said: "This type of cut by the Tories is mean spirited and damaging to the environment. It ignores what voters want and care about and is an indication of what would happen if the Tories were to succeed at a national level."

The demonstration will take place at the site at 10am tomorrow.

“The Tories are using the recession as a smoke screen for a massive cut back in service provision driven by their right wing ideology.

Cameron claims they are a changed party. Pull the other one - they're just the same old Tories!!”
