Prolific shoplifter, 48, banned from every shop in city centre
A HYSON GREEN man has been banned from every shop in the city centre after convictions for theft.
Winston Churchill, 48, of St Pauls Avenue, has a history of shoplifting offences and in 2012 received eight separate convictions.
During December and January, Churchill stole items of clothing from Millets camping and outdoor clothing store, in St Peter's Gate, and on two occasions from the Hugo Boss Store, in Bridlesmith Gate.
Items taken were high value shirts and a lady's coat. Churchill went on to hide the coat in another store nearby to avoid being caught, after arousing the suspicion of security staff.
