Prince Andrew visits school to mark 500 years
PRINCE Andrew is to visit a private school in Nottingham to help commemorate its 500th anniversary.
The Duke of York will be greeted at Nottingham High School by its headmaster Kevin Fear on Tuesday, October 16.
He will be given a guided tour of the refurbished design and technology department before being taking to the dining hall for lunch and to sign the school's visitors book.
The school has planned a year of special events to mark the milestone and Mr Fear said: "It is a great honour to welcome The Duke of York.
"Staff and pupils are absolutely delighted that our royal foundation is being marked 500 years on with a royal visit."
