John Peace may be leaving Experian after nearly 30 years, but his considerable talents will not be lost to Nottingham.

Mr Peace, who is one of the city's most experienced and successful businessmen, is taking up a permanent role as chairman of one of the world's most successful banks, Standard Chartered.

However, he will still lead the Nottingham Economic Resilience Forum – the group set up to lead the city out of recession.
