Pop goes the city as 2D 1D does rounds to meet fans
WHEN the world's biggest boy band dropped in on Nottingham this week for a sell-out show at the Capital FM Arena, there wasn't time for the superstar quintet to have a look around the city.
After playing to over 9,000 screaming fans at the venue on Wednesday night, they were straight back on the road to the next show.

So the Post gave fans the chance to get up close and personal with their heroes Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam – with our life-size cardboard cutout.
The 2D 1D went on a tour of the city taking in the Old Market Square, the Brian Clough statue, Nottingham Playhouse and Capital FM, where DJ's Dino and Pete [pictured] caught up with the cutouts.

Look out for the return of the boys to Nottingham next month when they come back to town play a second sell-out show at the Capital FM Arena on Tuesday, April 16.
