Police warning drivers to only venture out if necessary
NOTTS police are advising people only to make necessary journeys today due to the snow.
Inspector David Wilks said: "It has been constantly snowing throughout the night which has resulted in a a range of driving conditions throughout the county.

"We are asking drivers to consider whether their journey is necessary this morning and if they do venture out to travel with caution."

The latest update from NCT is that the Pathfinder 100 is running between Nottingham and Lowdham only, not continuing to Southwell.
There will also be some disruption to the markets in Newark and Southwell today. Some stallholders are unable to attend due to the bad weather.
