Dunkirk: Police have been issuing warnings to cyclists caught riding on pavements.

It follows complaints about the problem, with police focusing on pavements without cycle lanes in Beeston Road and Abbey Street.

A police spokesman said community protection officers had been giving out warnings and advice, while some cyclists had been fined.
