Police plea after fans clash at train station

POLICE want information on a fight between Forest fans and rival supporters at a train station.

The incident involving around 20 men took place at 9.40pm on January 28 in the underpass at Chesterfield Railway Station and involved fans of Forest and Sheffield United.

Detective Sergeant Bill Henry, one of the investigating officers, said: "British Transport Police has launched an investigation into the disorder. As the two groups of fans passed each other in the underpass, there was an exchange of words which soon escalated into violent disorder, with both groups exchanging punches.
