A POLICE community support officer swapped uniforms with Father Christmas to take part in a charity fun run.

Victoria Batterham, of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, was one of 22 members of her family who donned red suits and beard at Rushcliffe Country park on Sunday.

They took part in a 3km run to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Miss Batterham said: "My two-year-old nephew, Hayden, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was born and I have been looking for an event to be able to raise money for the cause. This Santa Fun Run was perfect. I think we made up a third of those participating."
