Police hunt Radford car jacking trio
POLICE are hunting three men who threatened a motorist with a metal bar, then stole his car.
The trio approached a blue Toyota Celica parked on Independent Street in Radford around 9.30pm on Monday.

One of the men then reached through the driver's side window and tried to steal the keys from the ignition, before another offender hit the motorist with a metal bar and threatened him.
Both the driver and the passenger were then pulled from the car and robbed, before the three offenders drove off.
The stolen car was seen crashing into a bollard on Wollaton Road, near the junction with Marchwood Close, Beechdale, just after midnight on Wednesday, and two men were spotted running away.
The three offenders are black and in their early 20s.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who either knows them or saw the Toyota, which has a black bonnet, a spoiler and alloy wheels, between Monday and Wednesday. Anyone with information should call Central CID on 0300 300 9999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

“They get about 100,000 car-jackings a year in South Africa.
They were lucky they were not killed for a laugh as well.”
