Police cordon off Bulwell community centre after man climbs onto roof
POLICE have cordoned off part of a Bulwell street after a youth climbed on to the roof of a building.
The man, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, is thought to have been on the roof of the boarded up Red Lion Community Centre since around 3pm.
Residents in the area said they had heard he was threatening to jump off.
One woman, of nearby Strelley Street, said: "When I went to pick my kids up from school, which must have been at about 3pm, there was police everywhere and they've cordoned off the street.

"There was a young lad up there dressed all in black with a black hoody on.
"It's still like it now. They're not letting cars up or down the road, and there's police at the front and back of the Red Lion."
