Poem: My Fiancée
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways,
My heart and soul I give to thee, now and all my days.
The Sun that shines upon you, on a face so soft and rare,
And when I do not see you, the pain's too much to bear.
I love your understanding, a virtue you seem to have,
I love the smiling face that haunts me, with your cheeky laugh
I love your sparkling eyes that greet me, in a loving way,
That radiates your love for me, which really makes my day.
You are always there to support me, in my grief and woe,
And when I am downhearted, you always seem to know.
I love your arms around me; when I feel really ill,
To feel the warmth of your body; is better than a pill.
I love you for your friendship, and all the things you do,
But most of all I love you, for being just you.
