Petrol & Diesel prices
As anyone noticed that petrol & diesel prices have started climbing again now that the investigation into whether the fuel companies were passing on the reductions in fuel prices. Does this not seem a bit strange or is it me being a bit paraniod about everyone trying to rip us off.

“Does anyone else think its funny how when there wasn't many diesel cars about in the 80s etc, that diesel was half the price of petrol? Now that there are very popular it costs more than petrol??

“Here's the real rip off, using diesel at 137.9 per litre:
Product: 51.97p
retailer: 5p
duty: 57.95p
VAT: 22.98p
So the oil company spends billions exploring for it, extracts it using a multi-billion pound oil rig, pumps it hundreds of miles along underwater piping, fractionates it in a billion pound refinery, puts it in a tanker and drops it off at a garage 5 minutes from your house for 57p a litre.
The government then sticks 81p on top and leaves us with some of the most expensive fuel in Europe.
Who exactly is doing the ripping off here? The oil company?”
