Newton impresses in Calverton's win

CALVERTON MW increased their lead at the top of U18 Division 1 thanks to a 9-1 win at Aspley Park, Jack Marshall bagging a hat-trick. Matty Newton gave another impressive display.

Two goals either side of half time ensured maximum points for Ruddington Colts Yellow against Wollaton Hall. Shyan Lawrence (2), Macauley Diuk and Luke Coxon shared the goals.

Wollaton made Ruddington work right to the whistle as Brad Daws scored his first of the season.

West Bridgford Colts' 9-0 win over Ravenshead Reds moves them into third place. Ben Taylor got a hat-trick with Daniel Neary, James McEntee and Derryl Rafter all scoring twice.

West Bridgford Crocs earned their first point of the season in U18 Division 2 with a 3-3 draw at Arnold Town Maroon. Harvey Dennis, Jack McGowan and Joel Holmes scored for Crocs. Jake Glover (2) and Bradley Woodcock replying.

Netherfield Boys had a good 3-2 win at West Bridgford Wanderers. Dan Jenkins took his tally to 12.

Netherfield's goals came from Elliot Goddard, Matt Vann and Aaron Pickard.

The match of the day in U18 Division 3 was at second-placed Netherfield Colts Orange, who went down 3-1 to West Bridgford Pumas. Nathan Healey, Rhys Lloydall and Ally Pettitt got the goals, while Keelan Wightman was the Netherfield marksman.

Bingham Town Bisons took bragging rights with a 2-1 win over Aslockton Cranmers. All the goals came in the second half as Harry Cottee and Tom Pitsillos netted for Bisons. Tom Sweeting replied.

Inter City returned to the top of U18 Division 4, beating Gotham Rangers 12-2. Shayne Nhidza, on his debut, Kyler Hofton and Jordan Mills scored three.

Sherwood FC enjoyed a 4-2 success against Beeston Centurions. Declan O'Rourke and Curtis Clarke shared the Sherwood goals with Jack Upton scoring both the Centurions goals.

Joel Deavin's hat-trick led Bulwell Rangers to a 6-1 victory at Ruddington Colts Black. Liam Towle, Tyrell Funnel-Myles and Tom Hall completed the scoring, with Edward Robinson replying.

Netherfield Boys made it 12 straight wins in U16 Division 2 (Sunday) with a 3-0 result against Priory Celtic. Netherfield went two goals to the good in the first period and sealed the win after the break.

Aaron Hoe bagged a super six goals as Gedling Southbank beat Ernehale Colts 7-2. He has now hit a remarkable 33 goals in 13 matches. Dylan Wallace and Keagan Wilkinson replied for Ernehale.

Keyworth United Black emerged victorious from a hard-fought game against East Leake Bantams in the Platt Lane mud.

Goals from Freddie Wood and Jake Morris, either side of a Raheem McKenzie strike, gave Bantams the edge. But Ben Healey's fine free-kick and a close-range effort from Lewis Hopkinson gave Keyworth the half time advantage.

A tight second half saw Lewis Hopkinson force a magnificent save from Bantam's keeper Simon Oakley.
