Parents to discuss free school scheme
THREE parent information evenings are being held to discuss plans for a new free school in West Bridgford.
Torch Academy Gateway Trust wants to open Trent Bridge Free School.
But the proposals have caused controversy, with West Bridgford School and Rushcliffe School both looking to expand.
The first meeting will be in Clifton Community Centre in Southchurch Drive on Friday. The second will be in the Embankment building, in Arkwright Street, The Meadows, on Monday, March 11, and the third in Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford on Friday, March 15. All will be held between 7pm and 8pm.
