Nottingham Panthers fans celebrate in Belfast
Although they have won trophies galore since reforming in 1980, it is Panthers first league title since the side, led by the legendary Chick Zamick, lifted the trophy in 1956.
"It's a very proud night for every one connected with the club," said Moran. "We have a great bunch of players and they deserve every accolade going.

The trophy has been handed over to Moran by Belfast, last season's winners, but will be officially presented to captain Jordan Fox on Friday in the Cardiff home game.
