Speculation about who will become the next Notts County manager has begun less than 24 hours after the sacking of Keith Curle.
Curle parted company with County on Sunday after the Magpies closed the curtain on his reign as manager, following their weekend defeat to struggling Hartlepool.

“Cotterill took a team that was doing extremely well already, with several games in hand and led them to promotion. Any manager could have come in and done the same, he performed badly as a manager before Notts and after Notts he was found out. Simon Grayson has a proven record as a manager at this level and higher, if he will come to Notts we should bite his hand off!”

“Can I suggest seriously Billy Davies.
He doesn't need the money following 2 big pay offs with Derby and Forest.
Its an opportunity for him to prove he can build a team rather than buy one.
If he were to get his first ever auto promotion then his stock would rise.
Just maybe he has learned his lesson that he is not as good as he thinks he is. Going back to the basics, jobs he had at both Motherwell and Preston, might just be a springboard for both Notts and himself.”
