Owzat? Cricketer joins auction team
FORMER professional cricketer Neil Edwards has had a complete career change and joined Savills Nottingham's auction team.
He joins the international property firm after 11 years as a professional cricketer.
He has played for Somerset, where he opened the batting with Marcus Trescothick, and more recently for Notts. The left-hander spent last season playing for Plumtree in the Notts Premier League.
Bob Crocker, director and auction co-ordinator at Savills, said: "Cricketers have an adaptable nature and are well-known for successful career changes.
