OAKLEIGH Lodge clinched the Nazareth House Knockout Plate despite a superb late surge by Wollaton RBL's Rex Benson and Adam Winson.

Oakleigh won all six singles frames. It left Wollaton requiring a winning margin of 73 points from the pairs.

Benson was in terrific form as he partnered Winson to a 66-point victory over Jason Turner and Rob Selby. But Colin Tutin and Tej Lees cruised to a 73-34 victory over Gunn and Packer to clinch victory for Oakleigh.
