SIX people from Notts have won funding to work for their favourite charity as part of a programme run by phone giant Vodafone.

Sandeep Chaggar, Katrina Mobley, Marta Latka, Andrew Pyrah and Maria Tucker all won places in the World of Difference UK scheme.

It is run by the Vodafone Foundation to give 500 people from across the UK the chance to work for their choice of charity.

Winner Katrina Mobley, 29, from Forest Fields, will spend two months working for the Citizens Advice Bureau.

She said: "I'm pleased and honoured to have been chosen."
