Notts stars on way to New Zealand
FIVE Nottinghamshire players have been included in the various England squads named for the up-coming tour of New Zealand next month.
The national side start their trip with a Twenty20 series from February 9.
Stuart Broad captains the team, back after his recent injury lay-off, and he is joined in the squad by fellow Trent Bridge stars Michael Lumb, Alex Hales and Samit Patel.
Patel, Broad and Graeme Swann are in the one-day squad, but Notts all-rounder Patel has been dropped from the Test squad – having featured in the longer form of the game in India – as the selectors have favoured Joe Root. Broad and Graeme Swann are included in the Test squad.

Other notable absentees are Tim Bresnan, who has been ruled out due to an ongoing elbow problem, while Craig Kieswetter has found himself axed from the one-day squad.
Notts' James Taylor has inherited the Lions captaincy from Root for their tour of Australia.
