NOTTS County have signed Blackburn Rovers youngster Alan Judge on loan until January.

The Republic of Ireland Under 21 international is able to operate up front, on the right and through the centre of midfield.

Judge signed a new deal with the Premier League outfit last summer to keep him at Ewood Park until 2011.

In 2008/09 he performed in the Championship with Plymouth Argyle, netting twice in 17 appearances.

He impressed enough for the Pilgrims to take him back in 2009/10, where he turned out a further 40 times, scoring on five occasions.

The necessary paperwork has been submitted to the Football League before the 6pm deadline and the club await confirmation.
