Her daughter Bethany uses a form of basic sign language to communicate, and her twin sister Nicole is not on the autistic spectrum.
Mrs Milner said: "Bethany inspires me and makes me proud every day. I would like to make Bethany and her sister Nicole proud of me, by completing the Virgin London Marathon. I know it's going to be tough, but I am taking my role very seriously."
To kick-start the fundraising the mum has organised two psychic evenings in March.
The first will take place on Wednesday March 13 at the Canal House in Canal Street, Nottingham, and punters will be able to have their futures read by renowned psychic Michelle Hare.
And the second event, again with Michelle Hare, will be held at the Springwater Golf Club in Calverton on Friday March 22.
Both events start at 7pm and tickets cost £15 and can be bought by ringing either of the venues.
