Notts couple sentenced to 26 years for sexually assaulting children
A MARRIED couple from Notts have been sentenced to a total of 26 years in prison for sexually assaulting children over a 13 year period.
Robert Oldham, 53, who had pleaded guilty to 16 separate offences including rape and indecent assault, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his crimes.
His wife Rita, 51, was sentenced to six years in prison.
She had previously admitted three offences - one charge of rape, one of indecent assault and a third of willfully neglecting and exposing a child to assault and ill-treatment by her husband.

The offences took place at various addresses in Nottingham and Notts between 1993 and 2006.
The Oldhams, who live in Greendale Crescent, Clipstone, had denied a number of other charges.
In delivering the sentences at Nottingham Crown Court, Judge John Milmo told them: "I have rarely come across such a catalogue of depravity."
