Notts boss launches scathing attack on Derby over pursuit of star midfielder
NOTTS County boss Paul Ince today launched a scathing attack on Derby County over their pursuit of Magpies midfielder Ben Davies.
Ince has accused the Rams of being disrespectful to Notts and of making a 'derisory' offer for Davies, thought to be £250,000 that was swiftly rejected.

The Magpies are likely to want double that figure for the 29-year-old, and Ince has told Derby manager Nigel Clough to either pay the asking price or leave Davies alone.
"They have made a bid, but you can't call it a bid. They need to go away and come back with something decent," blasted Ince.
"Derby have to do one of two things. They have to come up with the money the chairman (Ray Trew) is happy with, or leave us alone and let us get on with our season.
"I spoke to Cloughie and I told him unless you are going to come up with what the chairman wants, there is no point making an offer.
"I told him to go to his chairman and tell him the situation and then they came back with a derisory offer.
"They haven't got any respect. They think because we're a lower club they can do what they want.
"Hopefully it will go away because we need to go forward and I want to keep this team together as much as I possibly can."
Ince wants to keep Davies at Meadow Lane because he is key to his long-term vision of guiding the Magpies into the Championship.
He hopes his ambition for Notts will satisfy Davies' own desire to play at a higher level.
"When I think about it, I have to say players should want to be a part of what we are trying to do at this club. Who knows where we are going to be in a year or two years time," he added.
"There is something special about these lads and I would want to be part of it as a player."
