Notts County want Mikael Forssell and Jonathan Forte for five-star firepower
NOTTS County now want FIVE strikers to fire them into the Championship, says boss Keith Curle.
The Magpies already have Lee Hughes, Yoann Arquin and Enoch Showunmi.

But Curle has revealed he is once again chasing ex-Chelsea striker Mikael Forssell and may try to re-sign Southampton's Jonathan Forte.
Curle tried to sign Forssell, 31, on loan from Leeds last season, but he rejected a move to Meadow Lane.

He is a free agent now, after being released by Leeds in the summer, and has gone home to Finland.
But Curle hopes he can persuade him to come back to England.
"We've made contact with his agent and we're trying to find out if he wants to come back and play at this level and if he will fit into our pay structure," he told the Post.
"He's also been training in his homeland so we have to find out how fit he is.
"I know all about the goals he has scored and I've spoken to Neil (Warnock) and other people at Leeds.
"They have all raved about him and I know they would not give me a bum steer.
"He would more than fit into our style of play and hold his own in League One."
Curle could also try to bring Forte back to Meadow Lane when his loan at Crawley Town ends next month.
Forte, 26, netted five goals in ten league games for Notts on loan last season.
"Jonathan is a player that has been on our radar ever since he played here before," said Curle. "We got the best out of him last season and I think he enjoyed his time here.
"But he is paid a lot of money by Southampton. They're not a charity that is going to let us just have him.
"It's about juggling the figures and seeing what is best for us.
"I don't think you can ever have enough firepower.
"There are different types of centre-forward.
"Some can play with their back to goal and are link-up players, some are physical and others have good movement and play on the shoulder of defenders and then there are those who come alive in the box and are instinctive finishers.
"We're trying to tick every single box."
Notts have signed 21-year-old Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham on loan and he could go straight into their squad to face League One leaders Tranmere at home today.

“What an interesting statement by KC: "I don't think you can ever have enough firepower."
So why are you persisting with a 1-striker system then, Keith?”

“If he signs either of these two he might as well tell them and the other three strikers to make a phone call Friday night to KC as only one will get a game. The rest not to bother coming down the Lane early as they won`t get played till we`re losing.”

“What does he want another two strikers for? He seems reluctant to play even one at home.”
