Notts County match postponed
Notts County's home match with Stevenage at Meadow Lane on Saturday has been postponed.
A local referee carried out an inspection today at 1pm and despite frost covers being on the pitch since Monday, the surface was deemed unplayable.
All tickets pre-purchased for the game will be redeemable for the rearranged fixture.

“Of course it`s the individual clubs` fault these games were called off, in your case the entire management of Derby did not want to risk injury to the precious "talents" of the highly rated Forest goal machine.”

“Poor old notts can't even beat the weather, maybe they should let the players wear leg warmers, tights, wooly bonnets and gloves if it's too cold for them. I see Aberdeen v Queen of the South havn't cried off because it's too coldy woldy despite being 8 below. notts should be renamed queens of the south. Best not to criticise another club in your position I reckon though ... and you may not realise that we have already beaten Stevenage in the league and are looking to do the double over them. So, just one league defeat since last year for Notts and already you will have heard of some Forest supporters saying they have finally had enough and are planning to support us instead. They will be made welcome of course - and you too !”
