Nottingham law student wins Miss England beauty pageant
A UNIVERSITY of Nottingham law student has been crowned Miss England 2010.
Jessica Linley, of Lenton, fought off competition from nearly 60 other hopefuls at the annual beauty pageant held last night in Birmingham.

Nottingham law student Jessica Lingley has been crowned Miss England 2010
The 21-year-old, who wants to be a solicitor, will now represent her country at the Miss World contest in China next month.
Speaking after her win Jessica, who is also treasurer of the University of Nottingham law society and finance officer for the Athletic Union, said: "I want to do the best by everybody and truly make a difference to people's lives."
Before Wednesday night's final, she said if she won she would take some time off university "so I could give everything I have" at the Miss World contest.
Judges at the Miss England ceremony included former winner and reality TV star Danielle Lloyd, and Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.
