NOTTINGHAM Rugby will look to put the disappointment of losing to Cornish Pirates behind them when take on London Welsh at Meadow Lane on Sunday (3pm).

The Green and Whites were unable to break a four-year habit as they went down 13-24 to the Pirates at Meadow Lane.

Director of rugby Glenn Delaney was disappointed with the result and what was a frustrating performance to watch.

Delaney said: "We haven't won our first league game in the last four years and obviously it's a shame to add to that.

"We have London Welsh here this weekend and it will be another tough battle.

"The players were disappointed after the Pirates game because they had worked hard in pre-season.

"They are looking at the London Welsh game as a quick chance to get back to winning ways.

"To be honest we worked very hard for everything against the Pirates and we weren't able to capitalise on our chances.

"After analysing it, we had more possession, more territory and more opportunity but we simply didn't make that pay.

"I don't think they had to work quite as hard as we did and there were a few errors that contributed to that."

Delaney is keen to build on the performance. He said: "There's plenty to work on after the game on Sunday and obviously we'll be looking to improve."

Nottingham have introduced a new flexi ticket for this season.

It will allow people to choose the seven games they want to see and save money on normal match-day prices.

Supporters will be able to buy a book of seven vouchers which provide seven ground admission tickets.

The flexi-pack can be used in any combination, to choose any seven games during the season on their own, or go to a selected game with six mates.

The added flexibility to choose their games enables significant savings compared to match-day prices.

The cost for the flexi ticket is £105 for adults and £70 for concessions (senior citizens).
